You can't seriously expect to have a working space at above 30 degrees and rent that out. The entire area had a single mobile air-conditioning unit, shared between the suffering customers for which the window had to be opened in order for it to work. It was a balance between warm air coming in and hot air going out - effectively the room never went below 29 aeven with the air conditioning running full blast.
