Located on Veerhaven in the Scheepvaartkwartier, StartDock Rotterdam is literally and figuratively a 'safe haven to dock'.

The Scheepvaartkwartier is one of the few areas in Rotterdam that was spared during the bombing on 14 May 1940. Partly because of this, the district has managed to maintain its impressive old Dutch appearance and the imposing villas on the Parklaan are still proudly standing.
Westplein 12, a classic monumental building built in 1879 as a residence, at the time housed a German port commander and was later used as headquarters by the Marine Corps. Originally, the building was christened 'Rust Plaets', a name that still lives up to the location:  StartDock must be a place where you feel like a second home. Unique to StartDock is a close-knit community of like-minded entrepreneurs who encourage each other, learn from each other, and help each other grow.
